Nick is a personal trainer, performance coach, corrective exercise specialist, and XC National Mountain Bike Champion dedicated to helping athletes train hard, stay durable, and perform at a high level—without breaking down.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and more than 20 years of coaching experience, Nick combines elite racing insight with deep movement and strength expertise. Having competed at the highest level, he understands both the demands of endurance sport and the importance of building long-term durability—not just short-term fitness.

Through PurEnergy Performance, Nick delivers a smarter, more sustainable approach to training that blends corrective exercise, functional strength, mobility, and endurance programming to help athletes stay healthy and keep progressing year after year.

Train Like a Pro with MAD Endurance!

Embark on an 8-week journey to peak performance for the 2026 Moab Rocks with MAD Endurance. When you register, you gain exclusive access to a TrainingPeaks plan at no extra cost, fully compatible with Zwift and other smart devices for a seamless, integrated training experience.

For those seeking a more personalized approach, MAD Endurance coaches offer one-on-one support. Your coach will tailor your training to your goals, schedule, and progress—providing real-time feedback, accountability, and expert guidance to ensure you reach peak performance with confidence.

What to Expect:

Program Start: 11 weeks before race day

  • Weeks 1–4: Build a strong foundation of fitness and strength.

  • Weeks 5–8: Fine-tune top-end fitness so you arrive at the start line fit, fast, healthy, and well-rested.

The 8-week plan is designed specifically for the demands of Moab Rocks.

Training volume peaks at 10 hours per week, but individual needs may vary depending on your current fitness.
